A different graphic novel
The Orange Alternative
When my old friend, author David Kimmel, suggested collaborating on the presentation of his graphic novel, I jumped at the chance. Dave’s sideways wink at early 1980s high school — told through the lens of the classic conspiracy-laced spin between the CIA, the KGB and a legion of gnomes.
Dave is currently looking for representation for this project — and he’s going to make some lucky agent very happy.
At right is a prelude (the movie trailer of the graphic novel world, or did I just make that up?) of Dave’s story, a peak at a scene later in the story.
… told differently
Chapter One shows how this story is told by mixing straight traditional narration with graphic novel interjections. It’s a novel graphic novel.
